One of the major pulling powers that contribute to Muslim parents sending their children to Catholic schools is the impressive building stature they posses due to the rich foreign funding they currently receive. In contrast, many of the Muslim schools are crumbling shells, untouched since before the war started in 1991. The schools are under a great need of refurbishment and in some cases entirely rebuilt. There are over 80 muslim schools which need donations for refurbishment.
We recently raised £900 for refurbishment and completion of a primary school in Lunsar. We recently had an area of land kindly donated to us which we intend to use to build a brick secondary school which will contain 6 class rooms. We will need to raise £10,000 to complete this initiative.
